A NOTE FROM KATE
If you've ever left an appointment feeling dismissed or unheard, I want you to know this will feel different.
I lead with listening and curiosity. You bring your history, your questions, and what you already know about yourself. I bring the tools, insight, and guidance to help you understand what's happening and decide, together, what comes next.

MY APPROACH
Healing isn't a solo endeavor.
I see my role as a partner, not an authority handing down answers. Here's what that looks like in practice.
Partnership
Your history, needs, and lived experience shape the plan. You make the decisions; I help you see your options clearly.
Presence
Deep listening and real curiosity, with room for the whole story, including the parts that never fit into a fifteen-minute visit.
Simplicity
Better health doesn't have to be complicated. No perfectionism, no chasing every new protocol: Help cutting through the noise, and changes you can sustain.

THE FOUNDATION
Built on the WholeHealth Model
My care is guided by the WholeHealth Model, a framework Laura Sandquist, DNP, created in 2014. Laura and I have used this model to train clinicians in major health systems and internationally, and it is the guiding framework for our company WholeHealth NP.
Here's what it means for you in my practice:
Your whole story, not just the main complaint
Nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, relationships, environment, and purpose all shape how you feel. We look at how they connect.
Foundations first
Care usually begins with digestion, nutrition, and blood sugar balance, since a steadier foundation often helps other systems rebalance.
Context counts
Relationships, community, and purpose can support your health or stand in its way. They're part of the conversation, not an afterthought.
WHAT I TREAT
My areas of practice
I require that you provide the name and contact information for your primary care provider in order to schedule an appointment to address any of the following:

If one of these is your main concern, I'm not the right fit, and I'd rather you know now than after your first visit.

Epilepsy

Lyme disease
Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS)
